QUASI CONTRACT

There are certain circumstances when there is no agreement between the parties, there is no offer and acceptance but then also those circumstances give birth to a contract. These type of contracts are known as Quasi Contract. The Quasi Contract creates certain relationship or obligations which resembles those created by contract but the mode of creation is different. The basis of Quasi-contract is based on Justice and Equity. A claim for quasi-contract rests on the ground that a party shall not gain an unjust benefit over the expense of other.
